POINTS PULL 2010

Points will be based on six pulls on a 1-10 points system.

You must be a member for your points to count.

GENERAL RULES
"ALL points tractors will be checked for rules compliance"

Classes for points pulls are
3500,4500, 5500, 6500, & 7500lb Antique
 4500,5500,6500,7500, & 8500lb Farm Stock


1.    A tractor may only hook once in an individual class. There will be a limit of two plus can be pulled twice in powder puff classes.

2.    Drivers under the age of 18 must have parental/ guardian permission

3.    Drivers must stay on the seat of the tractor at all times. No bouncing, rodeoing, ECT or leaning back (safety issue).

4.    Antique (Modified) tractors cannot pull in Farm Stock. If your tractor pulls in antique or open gear classes at other pulls where farm stock classes are available you cannot pull farm stock and farm stock should not pull antique.* only exception is if there is not a farm stock weight class for example if there is not a 9500 lb FS class but there is a 9500 lb Antique class. Tractors cannot pull in antique if they pull in the 6mph class.

5.    Wheelie bars are recommended in all divisions.

6.    Any tractor or puller found to be unsafe or illegal will be disqualified or barred from hooking in that class or until the tractor or puller is approved

7.    Anyone suspected of use of drugs or alcoholic beverages will not be permitted.

8.    Anything falling off the tractor after being hooked to the sled and until the tractor is unhooked will result in disqualification.

9.    Tractor must remain in bound at all times. The pull ends and the length of the pull will be recorded at the point where the tractor goes out of bounds.

10.    Gas, diesel, or LP fuels only. No additives or boosters allowed. No alcohol or nitrous oxide fuels may be used in tractors. Tractors manufactured to use diesel fuel only cannot be converted to gas or LP in farm stock classes

11.    Drawbar must not exceed 20 inches in height or be less than 18 inches from the center of the rear axle to the hooking point. No part of the draw bar may extend rearward beyond the hook point. Drawbar must remain stationary in all directions. No ball hitches.

12.    There is a 100lb tolerance for any class in any division.

13.    A 50-foot minimum pull will be used. A driver may shut down and have one repull if the sled does not go past the 50 foot pull line.

14.    If a class is restarted for any reason, all tractors that are registered in the class and that have already pulled will be allowed to repull.

15.    A protest must be filed within weight class before the next class begins. There will be a protest fee of $100. Any tractor found illegal by track officials will be give 1 chance to fix the problem before have to move to next division. Protestor’s tractor will be checked first.

16.    All rules will be interpreted by the track officials. Any unforeseen problems or oversights will be ruled on by the track officials with their ruling being final.

17.    Trucks will go by rules of the sled operator.






Farm Stock Rules

1.    Year Model-Farm Stock: 1959 and older. The series of tractor had to be in production in 1959 to be legal for example a 1960 730 JD can pull since production on the series began in 1958.

2.    Tires Farm Stock: Maximum tire size: 0-4500lbs 14.9x38, 4501-9500lbs 16.9x38. No cut tires.

3.    Wheels-No press steel wheels unless the tractor came with them from factory. No Aluminum wheels or aluminum covers. Farm Stock tractors must have factory front and rear rims i.e. tractor must have 38” rear if that was on it from factory.

4.    RPMS-Farm Stock: 10% over stock RPM allowed.

5.    Weights-Farm Stock: Weights cannot be more than 11 feet from the center of the rear axle to the farthest point forward.

6.    Engine-Farm Stock: Tractors must maintain stock or factory replacement engines. No governor override. Any changes to the engine must be factory and/or factory replacement parts specifically for that model. Battery must be in stock location, No MSD boxes, but electronic ignitions are allowed. Alternators and straight exhaust pipes are allowed. No combine motors, IH 60 series tractors cannot run 301 blocks, no 12 port Oliver, no JD power blocks. Engine must be naturally aspirated, i.e.  No turbos or blowers.

7.    All farm stock tractors must pull in 1st gear and start with a tight chain and stay under 3.5mph. Shifting of TA’s allowed . No blowing the horn after75 feet.

8.    Tractors must maintain original stock appearance. No extra accessories allowed. No aluminum or chrome allowed except for exhaust pipes, PTO covers, or hydraulic covers. All shrouds, and covers shall be in place as from factory and be made of original material (steel or iron) and as near like factory as possible. Seat must be an original seat or a manufactured seat made for a farm tractor placed with stock mountings (such as TSC). Home-made side - shields will not be allowed. Exception: factory side shields such as Oliver’s. Alternators and straight pipes are allowed. No auxiliary transmissions

9.    Gas, diesel, or LP fuels only. No additives or boosters allowed. Farm Stock tractors must use the stock location for fuel tank. NO TANKS ON THE FRONT WEIGHT BRACKET.



Antique

1.    Year Model-Antique: 1959 and older the series of tractor had to be in production in 1959 to be legal for example a 1960 460 IHC can pull since production on the series began in 1958.

2.    Tires, wheels, and rims
a.    Antique: Cut tires allowed. Maximum tire size 18.4x38.

3.    RPMS
a.    Antique: 20% over stock RPM allowed.
 
4.    Weights
a.    Antique: Weights cannot be more than 11 feet from the center of the rear axle to the farthest point forward.

5.    Engine
a.    Antique: Engine must maintain stock appearance. Enhanced electrical systems are allowed. No motor adapter plates allowed.

6.    Antique must maintain a safe speed. All antiques must stay at or under 4mph. Shifting of TA’s allowed. No blowing horn after 75 feet. No auxiliary transmissions
